VPK Program

Our school along with the Early Learning Coalition provides Voluntary Pre-kinder (VPK), this is State program that focuses and is designated to prepare every student with a great foundation for success. The flexibility of our curriculum allows our teachers to plan activities that match the interest, needs and learning styles of each student, giving each child an opportunity to perform their best in school and throughout life. We want their first educational experiences to be interesting, challenging and fun so that they develop interest and love for going to school. Our program included literacy standards, accountability and substantial instructional periods, with qualified instructors that constantly prepare themselves to ensure that all children are intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically ready to enter school and ready to keep learning. Our environment reduces the tension and anxiety that arises in children and helps them make a successful transition to big school.

Children strive when there is a strong relationship between school and home is that why we always recognize the crucial role of parents as their child’s first teacher.

VPK program is available to all four-year-old children born on or before September 1st that resides in Florida, regardless a family income. Once a parent is certified, families are entitled to 3 free hours of VPK instruction each day, if students continue the day in the preschool and participate in the wrap-around program, which offers endless learning opportunities.

The VPK application process is online and is very easy to complete.

We work along with the Department of Health providing healthy and nutritious meals for the children introducing new food and making meal time part of our lesson plan when they participate in the wrap-around program.

Our teachers count with early childhood training, VPK training, along with background check, CPR and First Aid certification.

Our school has an open-door policy and we encourage our parents to visit the school at any time. With our program we make sure to have constant communication to inform parents about their children’s daily life and their general academic progress. As part of our commitment, we conduct a survey twice a year to measure satisfaction and fulfillment of our mission.
