At My First Place Academy, English and Spanish aren't a once-a-week lesson. Teachers greet, sing, count, and read in both languages throughout the day, so children pick up a second language the way they pick up their first — by hearing it, using it, and living in it.
Parents don't need to speak Spanish at home for this to work. The classroom does the work; your child brings it home to you.
